I have been given the unexpected open invitation after 4 months of training at Atomic Athlete to attend the "Operator" sessions. This class is by coaches invitation only and the programming is for the elite military athlete. I got my anticipated "initiation" this evening. I did not have enough "gas" after those 300 meter sprints and hit a fucking wall of darkness during the sandbag get ups. Coach had me drop the 60lb bag and handed me the 40... I still continued to struggle. I lost all will, I lost all confidence, I gave up, I could not go on when the clock ran out. Thankfully, I continued to the next workout and pushed through. My body is starting to go through physiological changes related to my age and I'm trying to push through because it's not going to go away. Stubborn body... stubborn owner.
